The historic city of Little Falls, situated on the banks of the Erie Canal and the Mohawk River, becomes a magical holiday setting decorated with colorful lights and festive ribbons, as the community celebrates the 9th annual Christmas in Little Falls, December 10th, 2016.

Sponsored by the businesses and not-for-profit agencies serving Little Falls, the holiday celebration offers a full range of activities, with highlights including historical tours, free horse and carriage rides, visiting with Santa Claus, caroling, and a spectacular Indoor Farmers' Market and an Artisans' Fair. When Event and Location
All Day Shopping at the quaint shops in downtown Little Falls -- Main Street, Albany Street and Ann Street. Be sure to visit the ShopLittleFallsNY website to learn more about all of the wonderful shopping and dining opportunities that our charming and historic city has to offer!
8am - 9am Registration for the Red Nose Reindeer 5K Fun Run, at the Little Falls Family YMCA.
9am Start time for the Red Nose Reindeer 5K Fun Run. Santa Claus will fire the starting gun!
9am - 10:30am Visit with Santa at the Little Falls Fire Station, on the corner of Main Street and William Street. Sponsored by the brave firefighters of the Little Falls Fire Department!
9am - 4pm Artisans Craft Fair at the Elks Club, in the banquet room.
9am - 3pm Indoor Farmers Market and Craft Fair at the Travelodge Motel, in the banquet room. Enjoy the farm-to-table tasting with local farm products.
9am - 11am Supporting Our Troops and Building Bridges to Peace, at the Little Falls Community Center, East Main Street. Make Christmas cards for our brave service men and women, and make bracelets for them to distribute as tokens of friendship overseas.
9am - 11am Christmas cookie decorating and chilren's games at the Little Falls Community Center.
9am - 4pm Visit the Little Falls Historical Society Museum, and see this year's unique and special Christmas exhibit!
9am - 3pm Boy Scout pop-corn sale, at Tracy Lynn's on Main Street.
9:30am HALO Christmas Tree lighting at Adirondack Bank.
10am - 2pm FREE Horse and Carriage rides! Take a tour of downtown Little Falls, departing from the Little Falls Historical Society.
10am - Noon Write and mail letters to Santa Claus, in the Adirondack Bank lobby.
10am - 1pm Meet the characters of Frozen at the Berkshire Bank, along with fun kid's events, arts and crafts, and games.
10am - 3pm Chainsaw Artist Mark Tyoe carves a holiday bear at the Travelodge Motel.
11am Free Christmas movie at Valley Cinema. Enjoy a FREE showing of Frozen on the all new digital screens of our beloved local movie theater!
11am Come and cheer on your favorite wait-staff as they race for charity ... without spilling their trays laden with drinks ... in the Fifth Annual Bartenders Race! The race starts at 11am at The Renaissance!
11am - 1pm Soup Fest on Main Street: taste all of the delicious soups and stews by the best chefs from Little Falls! All proceeds to benefit local charities.
11am - 1pm Local artisan cheese-tasting at the Co-Op! Come and sample the delicious Herkimer County cheese produced locally by Cochran Farms.
11am - 2pm Cookie decorating and hot cocoa at the Italian Feast.
11am - 3pm Glass-blowing demo at the Travelodge.
Noon - 2pm Open house and tours at the WCA historical mansion. Come visit Santa at noon, followed by Christmas Carols presented by the Girl Scouts!
1pm - 3pm Soup Fest at Canal Place: taste all of the delicious soups and stews by the best chefs from Little Falls! All proceeds to benefit local charities.
1pm The Little Falls Library will host Make a Gingerbread House ($3 supply cost; preregistration required).
1pm - 3pm The Utica Zoo Mobile will bring some amazing and super-cute animals to Little Falls Fuel and Hardware; there will also be donuts, cider and face-painting.
1pm - 3pm Winter hat and mitten giveaway, at St. Paul's Universalist Church on Albany Street. Refreshments served.
FREE Horse and Carriage Tours of Little Falls, NY
When Event and Location
8:30am - 3pm Arethusa! Enjoy strolling Dicken's-themed musicians perfroming on a variety of Victorian period instruments, all over Little Falls.
9am - 10:45am Enjoy the wonderful seasonal music of the Benton Hall and LFHS choirs and bands, at the Travelodge Motel.
11am Puppet Show - A Christmas Carol - at the Travelodge Motel, in the banquet room.
Noon - 1pm The Edelweiss Schulplattlers childrens troupe performs German folk-dancing at the Travelodge. Come watch and learn a new style of dancing!
Noon - 4pm Enjoy an open-house at the MVCA, with a potpourri of FREE holiday music from a variety of great musicians, both local and national, such as: Dave Reardon and Oscar Stivala, world-renowned pianists Dmitri Levkovich and Agne Radzeviciute, and Praxis Saxes 4! Admission is FREE, at Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts starting at Noon.
1pm - 4pm Enjoy the awesome music of the renowned local band, Cleen Street at the Piccolo Cafe; there will be a special and delicious lunch menu available!

Piano Concert in Little Falls, NY

Other FUN Events this Weekend:

On Friday night, December 9th, be sure to attend the amazing concert by world-renowned pianists Dmitri Levkovich and Agne Radzeviciute as they perform live at Benton Hall auditorium. The concert starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are $25 per person, for the concert alone; you can also purchase tickets for the concert plus a post-concert party with Dmitri and Agne at the Copper Moose for $50.
